El Hoyo 2 in Spanish) is the anticipated sequel to the Spanish sci-fi thriller
The Platform. Directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, the first film became popular for its social commentary, claustrophobic setting, and unsettling atmosphere. It featured a vertical prison where prisoners are fed from a descending platform, with those at the top eating first and those below receiving leftovers—or nothing at all.
